Is the photo on the cake actually edible?
Yes. We print onto food-grade icing sheets using edible inks. The image sits on top of the buttercream or fondant and is fully safe to eat with the rest of the cake.
What kind of photo works best?
A clear, well-lit, high-resolution photo where the subject fills most of the frame. Avoid heavy filters and group photos with very small faces — the icing-sheet print loses fine detail at small sizes.
Can you remove the background of the photo?
Yes — basic background removal is included. Tell us at order if you want the subject isolated against a colour or pattern.
